| Doodles are then skidded with rubber tired skidders. This skidder is unusual in that it has boom mounted grapples. Having the grapple on a hydraulic boom improved maneuverability when skidding the doodles which reduced the damage to trees not cut. On steeper ground, where the slope is greater than 35 percent, a cable yarder was used. | ||
